ABOUT ME
I am a life-long learner as shown through my continued educational development, culminating in a Doctor of Educational Leadership in 2016. I was recognized as the Arkansas Principal of the Year and a National Distinguished Principal in 2017. I was a member of the US Learning Journey Cohort to Auckland, NZ in 2017, which was sponsored by the Walmart Family Foundation and The Office of Innovation at the University of Arkansas. This resulted in a hub of innovation in Northwest Arkansas. Since that time, I have applied innovative practices as a school leader and mentored principals and teachers. My career has been focused on transforming education to improve the educational opportunities for all learners. I now offer my services as a professional consultant to principals, teachers, and other educational leaders, as well as architectural firms involved in designing modern learning environments.
